Chippewa Valley Pickleball Club Information

Primary Function and Process:

Our mission is to promote pickleball and its many benefits throughout the Chippewa Valley.  We strive to make pickleball a fun game for all to enjoy.  We do this by helping to develop quality and safe facilities, providing free and/or low cost instruction, access to free equipment, and a playing environment that is welcoming, inclusive, helpful, and respectful for all.  Our secondary but equally important mission is to use the sport of pickleball to enhance physical fitness, cognitive functioning, social interaction, and the mental health of all participants.  We are organized to operate exclusively for charitable and educational purposes as defined by the 501c3 guidelines.

Our Club is governed by a set of Bylaws and an elected Executive Board.  Meetings are held annually for elections, to set membership fees, and to review and approve our operating Bylaws.  Additional meetings are held as requested.  Members are encouraged to participate in the various committees, but it is not required. There are currently over 250 members in the Club.
